Trout fishing on a well-stocked, private loch provides a guaranteed tranquility fix in peaceful, secluded surroundings.
For small groups of family or friends they offer fly-fishing by boat for rainbow trout and brown trout.
They have three boats available, and allow two rods per boat. Lifejackets for adults and children are available, but please bring your own fishing equipment.
Day and evening sessions are available from March to December (Monday to Sunday inclusive):
Two fish can be taken per session by each adult rod, and one fish per child rod. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If more fish are caught, they can be purchased at £6 per fish or returned alive to the loch. All brown trout fishing is on a catch and release basis only.
Permits are available at Brooks House during office hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, and bookings are taken for the weekend. Please contact us in advance to check availability.
